We went to watch the Children's Parade, but unfortunately, these were the only pictures I took. The girls had a lot of fun watching the kids go by and waving at them. We woke up a little late that morning and had to bring some cereal with us. There was probably about 10 minutes left of the parade and Brooke told us she had to go to the bathroom. So Derek ran her the few blocks home so she could go. Sadly, she just missed the float with our wards Primary kids. It would have been fun for her to see some kids she actually knows! By the time Brooke and Derek got back, the parade ended. As we were walking back home, we ran into Mickey, Brooke's bus assistant from last year. She only lives a few houses away from us, but we don't see her all that often. (Plus, she is in another ward!) So we stopped and talked with her for a few minutes. Brooke was really excited to see her. We sure hope that Mickey gets to be on Brooke's bus this year, but we still haven't heard yet.
