Christmas at Our House

Christmas was fabulous this year. We were so excited to see the girls' faces when they woke up. They do such a great job of waking us up first before going into the living room.
Here is DaKoda's loot. She asked for a Disney Princess baby. That's it! So Santa brought her 4 of them. She got some barbies, wooden blocks, pajamas, a stuffed Baby Kevan (from the movie Up) and some Disney Favorite Moment dolls. And of course, an entire box of candy canes just for her.
Here are a few things that were given to both girls. They got 6 sets of the Disney Favorite Moment dolls. Cinderella, Snow White, Belle, Jasmine, Sleeping Beauty, and Ariel. They love playing with these dolls and Santa got them for a good deal!!
Brooke's loot! Looks like it's less than DaKoda's, but Santa had a harder time ($$) with Brooke's wants. She asked for Mickey Mouse Choo Choo Express and the game KerPlunk. She also got Handy Manny Hot Potato, some barbies, Leap Frog spelling words magnets, pajamas, stuffed Kevan (from the movie Up - Brooke got the Mom and DaKoda got the baby)and Handy Manny Motorcycle.
Here's the mad rush to the presents picture.
Brooke oohing and awhing over her presents.
DaKoda was thrilled that there was candy in her stocking. This girl knows whats important!
Brooke showing off Kevan.
Santa had promise DaKoda in a letter that he would leave her a cookie as long as she shared with her big sister. Here they are eating the extra no bake cookies.
Brooke finding her Princess and the Frog shirt. She sure loves that movie already!
DaKoda with her blocks.
Brooke with her Princess and the Frog pajamas. I guess it's a good thing she loves the movie, or she would have been sad on Christmas.
Daddy climbed on the table to show the girls the big presents that were from Mommy and Daddy.
DaKoda opening her BIG present. We gave her the Cinderella Castle that goes with all the Favorite Moment dolls they got. She was meticulous about getting every piece of wrapping paper off the box.
I think Brooke may love the castle more than DaKoda. She loved looking at the box so much, we had to convince her to come open her BIG present.
DaKoda ahhhhhing.
But boy was Brooke ever excited when she opened her gift. We had told her that she couldn't ask Santa for the Handy Manny repair shop because it was too much for Santa. But at the last minute, well, the last day any way, we went out and got her one and surprised her with it. She turned to Daddy and said, "You said it was so much money, but you bought it anyway!" I loved how happy she was and seeing her face. It made my day.....my week really. Best moment all day!
Just look at that smile. Does it get any more genuine?

So of course she made Daddy set it up, and create two of the projects before we could leave for Grandma Wentz's house for breakfast. We were getting pretty hungry!

Up next: Christmas at Grandma Wentz's house!

It looks like a wonderful Christmas, I love all the girls presents. How are you liking that Handy Manny workshop, I was this close to getting it for Lance but I wasn't sure if he would like it or not and it was so much money. Is Brooke loving it?

The girls got a ton of loot! Santa was very smart and didn't wrap his presents. Wrapping presents is the bane of my holiday.
