Brookes 3rd Birthday

Brooke had a lot of fun on her 3rd birthday! We got up and let her have whatever she wanted for breakfast - she choose cereal! We had french toast. Once she saw what we had, then she wanted a piece. Then we went to Wal-Mart to pick up her cake and to take pictures with the Easter bunny. Boy did she hate that! We had to coherse her into even standing by the Easter bunny. I swear the entire store heard her scream! After the trama, we went to Toys R Us, where they were having an Easter egg hunt. Wasn't really worth all the fuss, but we did get them to give her a balloon and crown for her birthday. They also got on the intercom and said "Happy Birthday to Brooke who just turned 3!" Then it was off to Grandma's house. She chose to have Chicken Nuggets for her birthday dinner. The grown-ups had baked chicken, the kiddies had the chicken nuggets. After dinner, we sang Happy Birthday to her and let her open her presents. Grandpa and Grandma got her a Shrek View Master with extra Backyardigans slides, and Dora and Twins Splash Around Dolls. Aunt Josie got her a My Little Pony that talks and comes with a backpack. Uncle Frank got her a Minnie Mouse get me dressed doll. Uncle Jesse got her a Dora tent. He said since we complained about the table he got her for Christmas (it takes up a lot of room in our house) he got her something even bigger. Nice uncle, huh? We love you Jesse! Aunt Denise got her a squirt gun, sidewalk chalk, a little doll, and a stuffed teddy bear. After we went home, Brooke got to open her presents from us. We gave her Dora Dance Party (there is a DVD and a dance mat, Dora dress up clothes and maracas) a Dora cash register, Mickey Mouse that dances and helps you learn left and right. And a Doctor's set. She loves the doctor's set. She keeps taking everyones temperature and putting bandages on. Then she says, "You feel better." She is such a big girl and so compassionate! I love my little Brooke!
